27, 2002: Late January 2002, the winter
in the Northeast seemed like early spring. It was a nice day with temperature
in the mid 50's F (12 C). As racers were heading for the annual
LRRS banquet on January 26, 2002, they brought their dirtbikes for
a Sunday ride in the trails. We enjoyed a beautiful spring like day riding
on the muddy trails at Lembo Lake in New York.
