America’s oldest motorcycle race “Formula USA Loudon Classic” was held on June 11 –19, 2005.  
Team SpeedBike.com once again participated in the  
“Team Challenge Endurance Race".

82nd Annual Loudon Classic 
Difficult choice of tires for a wet race start.   
After swapping tires from DOT's to Rains and back to DOT's...   
Speed1 decided for DUNLOP DOT's, Speed2 for DUNLOP Intermediate Rains.

SPEEDBIKE I - Finished 3rd GT Lights
 
SPEEDBIKE II  - with three crashes DNF'd. 
First two crashes just broke clutch lever, twice...  
Third crash broke everything else on the bike,  
except for the clutch lever...   
 
Bike had to retire after 2 hours of race... 
In any event, the team work was absolutely impeccable, bringing SPEED1 to the podium.
