| Lightweight
aluminum slip-ons canisters increase high end horse power.
Maintaining the original headers, they also keep strong midrange power
of the EX500. No
need to rejet the carburetors. Bike will run very well with stock jets.
Great
performance, great looking pipes, great deep sound.
Kit
consists of a pair of slip-ons and respective clamps. Fits all Kawasaki
EX500's years.

Clamps were installed to
the "inside" rear peg bracket. No alteration to the headers. Do not
pay attention to the slider I made or the bolt used, it is a longer bolt
that I used in order to use the slider and for the safety wiring used in
racing. The original bolt works as fine.

rider installed the clamps to the "outside" of the rear peg bracket.
Note that he also cut (shortened) the cross pipe at the headers.
Weight
of the Sarachu Exhaust:
One AL Sarachu weighs (with
clamps) 1.670 kilos ( 3.7 Lbs.)
One CF Sarachu weighs (with
clamps) 1.310 kilos ( 2.9 Lbs.)
One Stock canister weighs:
3.200 kilos (7.1 Lbs.)
Therefore,
by just swapping the pipes you eliminate about 8.4 Lbs. off the bike (if
Carbon Fiber is used).
Very
easy to install. Although developed for racing, these pipes are also perfect
for street riders, looking for performance upgrade and the sound of a racebike,
without having to go through major modifications.
2 instant
Horse Power gain and a very strong mid range Power

used. I still recommend the stock air filter, unless you plan
to rejet the carburetors
